Office Lighting

When choosing the most appropriate fixture for office space lighting, consider glare reduction for computers and necessary light level requirements.  We offer special applications that will  reduce glare on monitor surfaces.  Also, for most office applications,  light levels should be between 35 and 50 foot-candles. Advanced reflector technology enables many fixtures to be delamped and retrofitted with reflectors to achieve a these light levels.  

 

Our troffer, fitted with an acrylic lens, is perhaps the most widely used – since it provides a considerable cost savings over louvered fixtures. Another alternative to the 3" deep parabolic is the egg crate lens. These lenses come in a wide variety of cell sizes and may be finished in white or silver.
